Chiduku is a long-established cottage set on the hillside above the historic naval port of Simon’s Town, with sweeping views across the harbour, naval dockyard and False Bay.
Renovated in 2004, the property is surrounded by an indigenous garden with its own labyrinth and sits on the quieter side of town, while remaining within easy walking distance of the village, its restaurants, shops, museums and waterfront.

The property contains two separate, self-contained units: Upstairs and Downstairs, each with its own character.

Each has its own outside access and no shared indoor living space, with sweeping 180-degree views across False Bay.

Chiduku offers a choice of two spacious, self-contained units, Upstairs and Downstairs. Each has its own outside access and large deck, overlooking the indigenous garden, labyrinth and the False Bay coastline.

A spacious two-bedroom self-catering unit, comfortably accommodating four guests, with open-plan living and a private deck overlooking Simon’s Town harbour and False Bay.

The Upstairs unit has two bedrooms: the main bedroom is sea-facing with a queen-size bed, while the twin bedroom is mountain-facing with two single beds. The bathroom has both a bath and shower.

A fully equipped kitchen opens onto the living and dining area, with views across False Bay and direct access to the deck. With sweeping 180-degree sea views, the deck is an ideal spot for sundowners, outdoor dining and a braai.

Set above Simon’s Town harbour and False Bay, Chiduku enjoys an elevated position on the quieter side of this historic coastal town.

Central Simon’s Town is approximately a 10 - 15 minute walk away. The return journey includes stairs and an uphill stretch, something to keep in mind when planning your stay.
